About Us

We opened our doors in March 2021. While our academy is newer, our instructors have been in the midwest jiu jitsu scene  - training, teaching, & competing - for over a decade. Our members are people of all ages, genders, and skill levels, working together to make each other better every day.

Our Values

These values are at the forefront of everything we do.

Quality

We work to provide high-quality training that will help you meet your goals - whether that's getting in shape, having fun, developing your jiu jitsu, or all three. Our instructors are always advancing their skills through teaching, coaching, mentoring, and competing.

Community

Our motto is "Train Hard, Be Kind." We're building a community where inclusion, kindness, and accessibility lead the way. We try to instill this culture with every interaction and with all of our policies. As a result, our students are empowered & motivated to help each other everyday.

Safety & Hygiene

We are an AED-equipped facility with first aid kits and safety materials throughout. The mats & all equipment are sanitized after every use, and we have strict rules around hygiene that everyone must follow. Our owners maintain certification in Adult & Pediatric AED/CPR & First Aid.

Testimonials

Below are some reviews from our community. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions. We look forward to training with you!

My son looks forward to nothing more than training here 3-4 times a week. Aaron and Tam run an honest operation with zero compromise.

Great instruction! Women-only classes available. It is a great gym for people who want to compete and those who are doing jiu jitsu for fun. The community vibe in this place is my favorite part.

If you're in the area and not training here you're making a mistake. These guys are genuine people and as good as they are they're even better at jiu jitsu.
